Tom Stevens

Tom uses his expertise in psychology, performance, and leadership to help individuals and organizations think creatively and dramatically improve effectiveness. His experience in understanding the interface between individual and organizational dynamics guides his specialties in executive coaching, leadership development, group facilitation and training, and organizational innovation.

Tom received both a BA degree and an MSW degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Certificate in Organizational Development from UNC-Charlotte. He is a professional member of the National Speaker's Association, a charter member of The Society for the Advancement of Consulting, and a graduate of Leadership Triangle. Having started his career as a teacher and counselor, Tom gained experience as a trainer, consultant, and a dozen years as a CEO in the health industry before launching Esquare Leadership, LLC.

Tom's clients have included large corporations such as GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Novozymes North America, and Alcatel; universities such as the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Duke University Medical Center; and professional practices, trade associations, entrepreneurial businesses owners, and non-profit executives.

Tom's expertise in the dynamics of leadership and management, and savvy in the psychological aspects of behavior and culture change, makes him particularly responsive to the needs of new or fast growing organizations, workgroups undergoing transition, and executives and managers who work in demanding knowledge-based industries.
